Tonight I had another Young Women in Excellence program that I went to with my presidency. It was very nice. I love hearing the young women talk about their personal progress and how it has changed them. One of the young women tonight read a scripture that helps her when she is having troubles. It's in Either 12: 27 and reads:
And if men come unto me I will show them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then I will make weak things become strong unto them.
I have read this scripture before, but tonight it was really something I needed to be reminded of. I'm so thankful for my scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. It is truly a book of scriptures for us in these latter days. I love reading my scriptures. They bring me peace and answer questions for me when I am in doubt. On days when life seems more hectic than I can bear I remember that I have not read my scriptures. They remind me to come unto Christ and to have faith.
