Mother dear I Love You so.....

Me and my mom

She loved to fish

Mom was living with us this Chrismtas.
Sunday's always pass so quickly. It's been a beautiful day. I have had some good thoughts today about my mother. It's been four years since her passing which I can't believe have flown by so fast.
What a talented lady. As an LPN Nurse she set an example for me that I wanted to follow all my life. I always wanted to follow in her footsteps. She could paint, write poems, act, sing, and if you needed a secret kept she was the one to tell. She had terrible health that was her life's trial. She is the kind of person I want to be. I Love you mom!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I love thanksgiving. I love baking pies, rolls, turkey and stuffing. The smells fill the air and bring me such joy. I love being together with family, and love thinking of all the blessings I have received, which could take forever. Some of the most important are - The gospel of Jesus Christ - My family (each and everyone) - My wonderful husband - To live in the land of the free - To be healthy - To have a job - For all my good friends - A warm house to live. I could go on and on. (I sure miss my mom's homemade rolls) What are you thankful for?
I Will Leave you with this Thanksgiving Wish!!

May your stuffing be tasty. May your turkey be plump.

May your potato's and gravy have nary a lump.

May your yams be delicious. May your pies take the prize.

May your Thanksgiving dinner stay off of your thighs.

May you all have a Blessed Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Birthday Son!!

Happy Birthday to the MOST WONDERFUL SON on earth!!!! Keith was born Nov. 21, 1980. Keith was the perfect baby. He slept through the night at only 3 weeks. He was a happy child with a creative imagination. It seems like yesterday he was running around the house. We blinked and he was graduating from high school, then going on a mission to Chicago No. Spanish speaking. Then before we new it he was engaged, married and graduating from college. Then he and his beautiful Sara, gave us the sweetest grand-daughter we could ever ask for. Keith, you have grown into a handsome, talented, accomplished man with a beautiful little family, and we couldn't be happier with who you have become. We love you with all our hearts. Happy Birthday!!!

Slowest Halloween yet

I love Halloween. I miss the days of taking Keith out trick or treating. Our ward had a Trunk or Treat, and since it was on Halloween this year, maybe that is why is was so slow. Our neighbors across the street brought their two grand children over and Carter Johnson stopped by around 8:30, and that was the last of it. I have more junk food around my house and that's not good.

The trunk or treat was fun. There was a great turn out, and the costumes were awesome. My camera ran out of batteries before I could get a shot of Terri Johnson's grand-daughter. She was the bride of Frankenstein. She looked so good. Her hair stood straight back with the white stripe down the middle. What a cutie. All the kids looked so cute and had a good time. Even some of the adults got into it.

Keith, Sara, and Kate came by before we left for the Trunk or Treat and they looked great. Sara made the cutest Dorothy I have ever seen, Keith was the handsome scarecrow and Kate was the beautiful lion. They did a great job on their costumes.

Well, another year of trick or treating gone by. Love the holiday, but I'm glad to get rid of my decorations. Now just to find the time. Hope you all had a fun and safe evening.
