I'm Thankful for.....................

I can't believe it is already November. Time seams to slip away faster every year. Stores already have Christmas up and I haven't taken down my Halloween decorations. I love November, and I don't think we really get to enjoy or appreciate this month of Thanksgiving. So, this month I will be posting a "I'm Thankful for...." post daily. I have so much to be grateful for and I'm hoping to enjoy this month and better recognise my many blessings.

POST #1

As I came to work this morning I realized how blessed I am. I don't drive far and I work in an amazing office. This is my 22nd year at Meadowbrook Elementary and I will be the first to say I didn't think I would be here this long. I started work here when my son was in the second grade. WOW that seams forever ago. I thought then that there was no way I would retire as a school secretary. I guess I only pictured old ladies retiring. Well, I guess I am now one of those old ladies. I only have 8 more years to retire and being a school secretary is a great job. I love my job and everyone at the school. I am truly blessed!!
