As I drove to work this morning it was cold and over cast. The sun was hiding behind the gray clouds. My eyes went directly to tops of the mountains where there was a beautiful white coating all over the tops. It was beautiful!! I'm thankful for the snow. For it's beauty and for the moisture and supply of water it gives to the earth. I don't always love being out in the snow of course, but it has it's beauty. The way the earth looks after a snow storm - so undisturbed, a quiet peacefulness, and then the children's footprints, angels, and snowmen fill the yards. It's a blessing!!
