Back to School

It's a brand new school year. There are new people to get acquainted with and styles to learn. I love my job here at Meadowbrook, and as I begin my 23rd year I look forward to working with new people and adapting to new ways. It's what makes life so interesting I guess. I hated the thoughts of my dear principal retiring this last year, but I guess after living through 5 other principals I've learned new styles and found that although I complain (a little), I make the best of what ever I have, and most of the time end up enjoying it.

I am getting to know our new leader - Jeneal Magalei. She is kind, fun, fair and a hard worker, and the students and parents seem to like her as well. I think we'll be good friends. Robby is great! He is a quiet doer. He gets things done, and is very good with the students. It will be fun having him around.

Our first day was a little crazy in the office for the first few hours, but all in all, I think everyone had a good day. Although, we could use a little cooler weather. If the day was any indication of how the rest of the year will go - it will be a great year!

It's going to be an awesome year. I think that we have wonderful people to work with. Isn't is neat to work with friends? I was glad to see our outgoing boss also. I have a fantastic job.

Okay, that is the worst picture of me, really. Love our school and so grateful to be able to work with the best people.
