Merry Christmas One and All

Jim and I took this picture last night at the Bountiful Temple. The light in the sky just above the temple look as if there were a conduit of light coming from heaven. It was peaceful and beautiful.
Merry Christmas everyone.
What a wonderful day to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful for Him coming to earth, for His life and example. May we all be more life Him in our everyday lives.

It is a beautiful Christmas day. Although, I have to say I wished for a white Christmas. There is something about a new blanket of snow that makes a Christmas morning. The sun was nice and warm today. He had me crying first thing this morning when he presented me with a water color of the home I grew up in. Voices of my parents rang through my ears and a longing to be home again and the memories over took me.
I lived in this home from my birth to when I left home to get married. It was home to 6 girls and only one bathroom. A miracle on my fathers part if you ask me.

Ok so this isn't the best picture, but we were happy to be together this morning.

Jim was able to put on a few more rows of shingle while the sun shined.

Jim and I enjoyed a quiet morning together and made ready a meal for the kids soon to arrive. We opened presents first, and gave Kate and Megan a wagon. She was having more fun helping daddy and grandpa put it together than opening up gifts. I think she was a little overwhelmed with the day, but she always manages to keep me laughing with her funny faces and antics. Megan was hungry, and after eating she managed to give me smiles that melt my heart.

Keith kept us entertained with his magic tricks.

Kate found new places to hide.
