My nephew in Arizona just had their first baby boy! Braylen Tate Westergard is absolutely darling! He weighed 9 lbs 6 ounces, and 21 inch tall. Yes, a big boy. We are so happy for Joshua and Amy!!
A couple weeks ago I threw them a baby shower via Face Time. We have more family here than there and with all the miles in between us it was the only way. We got together and had some yummy food and then logged on to Face Time where they were all gathered at my sister's home. We had sent our gifts ahead of time and were able to watch her open them and visit a bit. It was so good to see them. This is the second shower we have done this way and it has been a lot of fun.
Family is so important, and I'm grateful for modern technology that makes it so easy to keep in touch with them.
