Trip to Liberty Park

We had the girls for a few days while Keith and Sara took a break to Bear Lake. They were the best little girls. Monday, I took the girls to Liberty Park. We took Grandma Nancy along for the ride. I haven't been to Liberty Park in many, many years. A good friend told me about the 7 canyons. It represents the seven major streams that come into the Salt Lake Valley. I have to say when we arrived I had no idea it was so popular. There were children everywhere. Kate was having so much fun exploring, splashing and floating twigs down the stream. Megan just sat and splashed. Kate wanted to stay, but the clouds were moving in and we kept feeling rain drops. We finished off the day with a snow cone and a ride on the Merry-go-round.

I didn't take many pictures, but it's a great place.
I really hated having the girls go home. Yes, I was tired, but they brought such joy to our home. Kate is so independant and says the funniest things. Megan is so good natured. She smiles and giggles and loves watching her big sister play. We got them both jumping on the bed and giggling so hard - I just laughed and laughed. Thanks for letting us take the girls Keith and Sara.

I watched you with them at church on Sunday. You are a wonderful grandmother, and so very kind to give your son and his wife a probably much needed break.
